Now available at Target, C’est Moi Vegan Makeup brings a flush of color to your life.
Disclosure: I received free products for this review.
I miss lipstick. It used to be my signature pop of color. But times are weird and I’ve reluctantly retired my happy hued lipstick and glosses and replaced them with masks of various colors and patterns. I suppose masks are the new lipstick? Sigh. Damn, do I miss lipstick.
That’s why I was excited to find C’est Moi Flushed Lip & Cheek Balm. And at Target, no less! It’s just what I needed to add a little color to my cheeks and lips without a mess under my mask. Recently launched at Target stores, C’est Moi makeup has the muscle to catapult your eye, cheek and lip game to a new level. EWG-verified, vegan and thoughtfully formulated, C’est Moi (loosely translated as “It’s me”) offers a return to color at an affordable price.
I got all three colors of the Flushed Lip & Cheek Balm. I haven’t decided on my fave.
Unfazed is a mauve hue that blends brilliantly as a flush of natural color on cheeks. I love Tickled, a rosey pink that I dab on over the Unfazed to give it a little more flush. And Charmed is a happy watermelon color that goes great with a touch of bronzer. You can add just a little or take it up a notch for those precious maskless occasions.
The balms all work wonderfully as lip color. The creamy formula melts into your lips with no residue. In a normal world, I would add a little lip gloss over it but yeah … normal is a bit out of reach right now and I’m happy to enhance my natural lip color and not worry about popping on a mask.
The best part about these multitasking gems is that they leave your lips laced with a pleasant taste. Seriously. It might surprise you (it surprised me!) to find out that C’est Moi has gone to great lengths to include only clean ingredients in their products. Their entire collection of skincare and makeup is formulated with consciously harvested, thoughtfully sourced ingredients that are void of toxic and allergenic additives. Their products are Environmental Working Group (EWG) verified, dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic and reef safe. And no animal testing, too!
