New York Fashion Week: Backstage Beauty from Estee Lauder

New York Fashion Week is back, and this year, Estee Lauder teamed up with The Row to sponsor the beauty look for the Spring 2012 presentation that took place yesterday, September 9th in New York City.

Estee Lauder creative makeup director Tom Pecheux led a team of makeup artists to create the fresh and beautiful look on 15 models. Famed manicurist Deborah Lippman and her team polished their nails using Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer.

“The beauty look for The Row presentation is softly sophisticated. The models look fresh, natural and beautiful – what any woman would want to look like when she wakes up in the morning,” said Pecheux of the looks that sauntered down the runway.

Estee Lauder products used backstage:

• Eyes: New Dual-ended Mascara in Black and Brown (launching March 2012). Used with an eyeliner brush for liner in between lashes and with the mascara wand for lashes. For blondes, brown was used for top and bottom lashes and liner. For brunettes, black was used for top lashes and brown was used for bottom lashes and liner.
• Brows: Sumptuous Extreme Bold Volume Mascara in Black and Brown
• Lips: Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Beige
• Cheeks: New limited edition Gelee Bronzer tested backstage (launching January 2012)
• Skin: Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator, DayWear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15, a new foundation tested backstage (launching March 2012) and Lucidity Loose Powder
• Nails: Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Nude Attitude
