My name is Samantha and I am a gloss-aholic! They say the first step is to admit you have a problem. But how can I not when there are so many phenomenal glosses all around me? My latest obsession is Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Pop.
Let’s start with how silky soft my lips feel at the very first swipe. It’s a full-bodied gloss meaning a little goes a long, long way. Just once across each lip and a final swipe for good measure and I’m in pucker heaven. I attribute part of this to the quality product bottled in side and part to the use of a brush applicator rather than a sponge tipped applicator.
Now for the color! Oh how I love this color. It’s a soft and subtle pink sans sparkle. I know, crazy! I am normally glitter obsessed but this creamy and smooth color adds a whole new dimension I had yet to explore for my lips. It’s soft and subtle, but pops brilliantly against my skin.
From a company known for their professional quality makeup, you can only expect that this gloss has proven lasting power. While I may not be able to smooch on my husband and remain smudge-less, I can easily go the entire morning with one application.
With 17 colors to choose from I can tell I will be in glossy heaven for quite some time. The next colors on my list are pout, tease and electric (because you know I can’t completely deny my inner shimmer)!
