We have quite possibly stumbled upon the most amazing product ever.
Ladies, how many times have you been invited to attend an event last minute and you look in the mirror and your eyebrows bear a resemblance to Chewbacca’s? As working girls, mothers and all around domestic divas, it is often difficult to find the time to go get our eyebrows waxed. We do not always realize this until it is too late and our favorite place to go is either closed or cannot fit us in.
The great people at Nad’s must have realized this was a national crisis because they have created an at-home eyebrow shaping kit that is truly incredible. Normally I would air on the side of caution when the words “hair removal” and “at-home kit” are present in the same sentence; however, the Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper kit is the exception.
When I first opened the Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper box, right away I noticed there weren’t a lot of pieces involved and that the instruction manual did not resemble that of an encyclopedia. This automatically sent a wave of relief through my cerebellum. Generally when you’re trying to “do it yourself” with any sort of hair removal kit, it tends to be a dramatic, sticky and lengthy process. There is no heating involved and the hair removal gel is hypoallergenic and odor free for our Spa Girls with more sensitive skin.
I found it very simple to shape my eyebrows just the way I like them without the complexity and time involved with tweezing, which is normally my fallback plan when I stumble upon an emergency brow situation. You simply clean the area with one of the Nad’s Cleansing Wipes or a non-moisturizing soap to ensure all oils, makeup and moisturizers are removed and wipe skin completely dry. Next, you apply the Nad’s natural gel via the wand, apply the strip and remove! The hair removal gel is similar to wax but less gooey. The best part is it is 100% mistake free. If you make a mistake while applying the gel, just simply wash away with warm water, dry and start over!
You can use this on your eyebrows, upper lip and that pesky center brow and it is easier than you think! Trust me, you will be happy that you tried it!
Tips:
- I recommend rubbing the wand between your hands for a minute to break the gel up a bit so it glides a little easier. Do not put the wand in the microwave.
- Start small. I suggest working in very small sections until you get the hang of it. It’s better to take a little longer when shaping versus penciling in your eyebrows because you became impatient.
